After ordering from Colma Monuments, we are ready to start the process.
We will send you a temporary draft layout from the information given. Make any correction necessary or approve the draft with a signature.
QA check the granite and put the stencil on create a stencil layout.
After we received an order and review all the information is given. It is time to fabricate! From the QA check for every single piece we have in stock, the headstone we engrave will be ready for work.
We handcraft a unique layout for each customer via email for review and any correction needed.
After signature, we stencil in the layout and extract the characters
This is how the headstone looks before engraving.
After engraving, we remove the stencil and thoroughly clean the head stone for installation.
with manual labor, we engrave the letters with first a stencil. using a extacto knife we cut out the stencil with the layout a customer chooses. we make sure all letters aligned accordinglyto the stone and spacing is well balanced trhoghout.
next we engrave from at least a quarter inch thick . we then spray with our omnuennt paint that last at least 10 years
then we wash and clean and install
